I graduated from the University of East Anglia in 1991 with a 2.1 in Ecology. After a brief period in nature conservation, I then took a sideways step into epidemiology and have worked as a freelance consultant in this field since 1995.

I have worked on many different projects. In particular, I have extensive experience of conducting systematic reviews and also have a special interest in the preparation of manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, including addressing reviewers’ comments. I also have proofreading and copy-editing skills.

With my experience as an epidemiologist, I am also able to carry out statistical tests and interpret data.

In 1993, I completed the European Educational Programme in Epidemiology

I am a current member of the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA).
